Short day

Today we didn't do to much. It was pretty wet and nasty and there wasn't a ton to get done. 

We started with bedding the barns again. While we were bedding we found a calf that had only been born probably an hour before. We had quite a time trying to figure out who the momma was.

Ended up that wasn't momma but this might be. 

We then worked on a cow with bad feet. We had to cut the wrap off then rewrap her.

First they had to get the foot lassoed and pulled back.

He then cut the wrap off.

Well the calf wasn't taking to anyone real well so Mike and Chris tubed him.

Well Mike and Connie went to pick up Megan. Chris and Amanda went to Des Moines with friends and Caleb went to Des Moines with other friends. I therefore watched the kids. They had a blast and it was fun.

The kids played in the garage probably for 3 hours. They were having a blast.

I sat by the fire most of the night since it was so damp.
